A card shop selling on both sides of the border needed real storefronts, and a back office the owner could run himself. So we built one that reads a card straight from a photo. Snap the front and back, and it fills in the year, set, player and team on its own.
Colecciones Deportivas Baja is a sports-card and collectibles business that sells across the border: Spanish-speaking customers in Tijuana, English-speaking ones in San Diego.
The owner needed real storefronts people could browse, and a back office he could run himself, from his phone. No checkout to babysit, no monthly software he'd never open. His customers already buy the way they always have, over a message. The site had to fit that, not fight it.
Live on its own domain, run from a phone. One catalog, two countries, and a cataloging step that used to take minutes now takes a photo. Proof we ship the software behind a storefront, not just the storefront.
The store also changed its name twice in eighteen days while it was live, and went back to the one it started with. That is worth saying out loud because it is the ordinary case: a small business changes its mind, and the build has to survive it without a rewrite. The revert shipped as a forward change with the old catalog, the old URLs and the customer's WhatsApp thread all intact, and the retired domain still redirects.
