01 / Why this, here

Yes, we work in Orange County.

The studio is in San Diego, which leads some Orange County owners to assume we are not an option. We are, and Irvine is a ninety minute drive. Roughly a third of the work we look at sits north of the county line.

Irvine is an unusual market for this. Between the Spectrum, the Great Park corridor and the professional-services firms clustered around them, there are a lot of well-run companies with genuinely modern software and genuinely manual operations underneath it. They bought good tools. Nobody connected them.

That is the audit's natural target. We follow a real job from first contact to paid invoice, note every point where a person moves information between two systems that should be talking, and price what it would take to close each gap. Sometimes the answer is a build. Often the answer is a configuration change in software you already pay for, and we would rather tell you that.

02 / What you get

One document, and a decision you can make.

  • A walkthrough of how your business actually runs today, written down where anyone can read it.
  • Three to five places AI or software would pay for itself, ranked, each with the hours or dollars attached.
  • What each fix would cost to build, so you can stop at the document if the numbers do not work.
  • The places we tell you not to bother. Some work is cheaper left alone.
  • A 90-day order of operations, first thing first.
  • A live walkthrough of the findings, with your questions answered in plain English.
03 / What this looks like

Three shapes this takes in Irvine. These are composites, not named clients.

A professional-services firm near the Spectrum. Client intake runs through a form, a CRM, a billing system and a shared drive, and an associate keeps all four in agreement by hand. The audit counts the hours and prices the connection.

A device or biotech supplier. Quality and compliance documents pile up faster than anyone can index them, so answering one auditor question means a person reading folders. We look at whether a searchable internal answer source is worth building, and what it would cost.

A multi-location operator. Each location reports slightly differently, so the monthly roll-up is assembled by hand every month. Usually the fix is smaller than the owner expects, and the audit says how much smaller.

04 / Honest scope

What we will and will not take on.

We take on established businesses with real operations, roughly five to fifty people, where the owner still has enough visibility to answer questions about how the work moves. We need time with the people doing the work.

We do not take on one or two person businesses, and we do not take on projects where the goal is a chatbot on the website because a board member asked for one. The audit exists to find where the money actually is, and it will say so if that is nowhere.

The audit is $1,500 and fixed, and travel to Orange County is included. If the document finds nothing worth building, you still keep the document and you owe nothing further.

This page was drafted from a structured outline and hand-reviewed before launch. The work itself is custom, owner-operated, never templated.
